SUMMARY:Chattanooga Creek Clean Up - March 5th
DESCRIPTION:Greetings Wild Trails Friends\, \nIt’s time again to clean up Chattanooga Creek and put forth more effort to restore it to it’s natural beauty. We’ve built the infrastructure to move the waste up the creek bank and dispose of it\, but we need folks who are willing to bring out their canoes\, kayaks or SUP and help. \nIdeally we would like to have 5 tandem canoe or kayak (2 seater) and 10 solo craft to make sure we don’t crowd one another\, so please sign up now. The two person craft will act as trash bag sherpas to transport the bags of trash to the take out and 10 other craft to get the trash in the bags. \nPlease contact me if you have any questions and we so hope to see you then. \nThank you! \nWild Trails \nBig Thank You to Our Event Sponsors!\nRed Bank Location\n

SUMMARY:Lookout Mountain 50 Mile\, 18 Mile and 10K Trail Race
DESCRIPTION:The Lookout Mountain trail races begin high atop the mountain at the spectacular Covenant College campus. The course offers a variety of challenging climbs\, highly runnable sections and moderate descents on predominantly single track trails. The 50 and 18 mile races travel together until the end of the 18 and other than a mile or so at the beginning to thin the field out\, there are no roads. Runners traverse beautifully diverse ecosystems in the scenic and historic Chattanooga National Military Park\, the first national military park in the country and passes directly above Craven\’s House and the Battle Above the Clouds\, one of the most decisive battle sites in the Civil War. The course continues on spectacular trails along Lookout Creek to the bottom of the only significant climb of the day. Ending the race for the 18 milers back at Covenant College. The 50 mile runners continue to navigate two exposed bluff lines with fantastic views.

SUMMARY:Five Star 50 Paddle Race
DESCRIPTION:What fantastic course that spotlights all of our local flat water. Downtown to Sterchi Farms (S. Chickamauga creek) to Greenway Farms (N. Chickamauga creek) to south Broad St (Chattanooga creek) to Reflection Riding (Lookout Creek) around Williams Island and back to downtown. We are hosting a test run on. To begin with there is only one craft category…Open. As soon as there are 10 of one type of craft in one gender registered\, we will give out awards for that seperate group. This is called Five Star for two reasons\, there are five independent bodies of water that we will be paddling on and we intend for this to be a Five Star event. Your entry fee will include lodging at the Crash Pad. Albeit not a Five Star hotel but just perfect for hanging out with fellow paddlers. We will also cater to your individual food needs out on the water. We will have five locations that we will have exactly what you want to eat and drink at each stop. We will not only have at each feeding station what you ordered ahead of time but we will have a bunch of options if you change your mind.

SUMMARY:Still Hollow 1/2 Marathon and 10K Trail Race
DESCRIPTION:The Enterprise South Nature Park is the venue for one of the fastest growing trail races in the Southeast. The wide\, soft and gently rolling pedestrian only trails make the first section a perfect lead in for the 1/2 marathon and the entire 10K race. Both races start at the same time. The second 1/2 of the longer race is on the non technical bike trails winding through a more remote area of this widely diverse and heavily wooded nature park.
