SUMMARY:Five Star 50 Paddle Race
DESCRIPTION:What fantastic course that spotlights all of our local flat water. Downtown to Sterchi Farms (S. Chickamauga creek) to Greenway Farms (N. Chickamauga creek) to south Broad St (Chattanooga creek) to Reflection Riding (Lookout Creek) around Williams Island and back to downtown. We are hosting a test run on. To begin with there is only one craft category…Open. As soon as there are 10 of one type of craft in one gender registered\, we will give out awards for that seperate group. This is called Five Star for two reasons\, there are five independent bodies of water that we will be paddling on and we intend for this to be a Five Star event. Your entry fee will include lodging at the Crash Pad. Albeit not a Five Star hotel but just perfect for hanging out with fellow paddlers. We will also cater to your individual food needs out on the water. We will have five locations that we will have exactly what you want to eat and drink at each stop. We will not only have at each feeding station what you ordered ahead of time but we will have a bunch of options if you change your mind.

SUMMARY:Still Hollow 1/2 Marathon and 10K Trail Race
DESCRIPTION:The Enterprise South Nature Park is the venue for one of the fastest growing trail races in the Southeast. The wide\, soft and gently rolling pedestrian only trails make the first section a perfect lead in for the 1/2 marathon and the entire 10K race. Both races start at the same time. The second 1/2 of the longer race is on the non technical bike trails winding through a more remote area of this widely diverse and heavily wooded nature park.

SUMMARY:Scenic City Trail Marathon and Half Marathon
DESCRIPTION:The trails at Raccoon Mountain are still mostly fast and forgiving\, making for a leisurely race for new trail runners or a full on speed-fest for those hunting for non-technical trails. The marathon course is new for this year. We are going back to sort of the old course of running the 1/2 marathon twice. This will be far easier and faster than going down and back up the brutal Live Wire trail.

SUMMARY:Nature Calls 5K & 15K Trail Races
DESCRIPTION:This race is a low key\, no frills\, low cost\, no awards social race\, run\, and/or hike. Both courses are on trails. The 5K is about as easy as can be found in this area and the 15K has some real challenges with the High Adventure trail\, including a rope section and the difficult trail that travels down to the bottom of the magnificent Lula Falls. This event is open to anyone traveling at any speed. Hikers are most welcome\, however\, out of respect for our volunteers time we must enforce a cutoff time of 3 hours for the 15K only. That is 3 miles per hour. The run/hike will be followed by post race snacks and beverages. Proceeds will benefit the Lula Lake Land Trust.

SUMMARY:Frigid 5k Trail Run & Polar Plunge
DESCRIPTION:The Frigid 5k Trail Run and Polar Plunge is hosted by Camp Maranatha located in Scottsboro\, Alabama\, along the shores of Lake Guntersville on the Tennessee River. Race proceeds benefit Camp Maranatha\’s purpose to facilitate positive life change in all who come whether as camper\, guest\, or staff. The Frigid 5k is comprised of three distinct events: the Frigid 5k Trail Run\, the Frigid 5k 1 Mile Fun Run\, and the Frigid 5k Polar Plunge. \nThe Frigid 5k course is a loop entirely on camp property and is comprised of trail\, grass\, and gravel. It levels out in the woods along the ridge before descending down to the center of camp. At the base\, runners turn around and go back into the woods running the same route but in the opposite direction. \nThe Frigid 5k 1 Mile Fun Run is a flat route on the camp\’s gravel road. Partipants run/walk/jog half a mile to Three Crosses\, one of camp\’s outdoor chapels overlooking Lake Guntersville\, and then turn around to return the half mile back to the center of camp. \nThe Frigid 5k Polar Plunge is optional. SUMMARY:Still Hollow Trail Race
