This was our first go round at having overall course awards distinct from craft/gender class, so we appreciate you working through the kinks with us! As we mentioned during the awards ceremony, there were a few shuffles for the classes where racers didn\’t get pulled up which created more podium spots. The final list of awards is as follows, so if you weren\’t called up Saturday (or had to leave early) please ping us and we\’ll get you your choice of tee or growler!
As a reminder, the Southern Stoke Series points will convey by craft/gender order of finish as in years past (e.g. if you got a 2nd because 2 racers were pulled out of your class for an overall award, your series points finish order is 4th). Again – thanks for your patience as we try new ways to create formats where more racers get awarded. Everyone did an amazing job on that course – so hats off to everyone!
