The mission of Wild Trails, a 501(c)(3) non profit, is to encourage and promote healthy and active lifestyles through trail running and other forms of outdoor recreation and to advocate for the protection and preservation of land (natural spaces) used for such activities. Your tax deductible donation will continue to allow Wild Trails to improve, protect and expand our nature trails as well as direct programs to empower our citizens and visitors to use them.

SOLO Wilderness First Aid Class | June 25-26, 2016

Knowing what to do in a backcountry emergency can make all the difference and might even save a life. Wild Trails, in conjunction with SOLO Wilderness Medicine, is bringing Wilderness First Aid (WFA) certification to Chattanooga, TN. Known for their innovative and motivational techniques, SOLO programs stay in the forefront of medical advancements. This 2 day course will equip you with the basic skills to handle and often prevent many backcountry emergencies. We\’ve got all the details on the Wild Trails website under Community Outreach.

Details

When: June 25-26, 2016 from 8:30am – 5:30pm each day
Where: Humphreys House at Chattanooga Nature Center
Cost: $150.00 per person for Wilderness First Aid (2 Year Certification)
*If CPR certification also needed, add $35.00 per person – CPR offered in 2 hour course immediately following WFA class on June 25th

This awesome and awe inspiring race is coming up fast! The Chattanooga Mountains Stage Race is really like no other in this area. After 3 challenging and exhilarating days of trail running, you will have experienced some of the most beautiful views and trails Chattanooga has to offer. As if that wasn\’t enough, the relationships built with other runners and the sense of personal accomplishment from this race can\’t be beat. New for 2016, we\’ve increased the cutoff time for day 3 so you can make the most of this experience!
