Signal Mountain H.S. Awarded a Wild Trails Grant to Build Cross Country Trail On Ramp

Signal Mountain High School must be close to the top of the list of American \”trail\” high schools. What I mean by that is this school as direct access from the campus to more single track nature trails that about any. One problem is that they cannot host a cross country meet. Until now there was no way for the typical mass start common in all high school XC running meets to get from a large field onto the trails. Wild Trails awarded a $2,000 grant to the school which will allow them to fix that. As you can see from these photos, the school now can get a pack of runner from the field onto the trails.
