Volunteer party is a wild success

The Wild Trails volunteer party was a great success, in spite of the brief rain that blew through. In fact, it even led to a pretty awesome double rainbow!

About 50 people came out to celebrate the work of the past year. With handmade, wood-fired pizzas, juicy hamburgers, and a couple kegs, everybody was well-fed and happy.

Wild Trails director Randy Whorton even took over the brick pizza oven — which he built himself, and is totally portable! Look for this to be a hit at future Wild Trails events.

Thank you to The Crash Pad and The Flying Squirrel, for lending the space and the chef.

And THANK YOU to all the volunteers. We couldn\’t do it without you, and we plan to keep it fun for you in the future — with exciting new events like you\’ve never seen before!
