Wild Trails - Chattanooga Trail Running and Trail Conservation Non-profit

Wild Trails is Thankful for You

As we pause today and reflect on those things we\’re most thankful for, Wild Trails extends a huge Thank You to all the runners, members, volunteers, supporters and sponsors who have partnered with us this year. We could not do this without all of you! Thanks to the combined efforts of so many, we are able to continue impacting our community by promoting healthy lifestyles through education and local races, by building and improving local trails, and by investing in local organizations who are also working to improve Chattanooga.

From all of us at Wild Trails, Thank You!

New Wild Trails Adventure Series

Thankfully there is a growing number of people in our area using nature trails, waterways and crags as an active, integrated part of their lifestyle instead of seeing these places as just a place to \”recreate\”. There is also an increase in the percent of participants in outdoor competitions that are entering only for the adventure, not the competition. We think this is great!

In an effort to support these folks we\’ll be offering several new \”Adventure-type Events\” in 2017. Our goal is to not only have some events for these groups but also to motivate everyone to create their own adventures. These adventure events are simple, low or no cost and only competitive in that we will add the times to our local FKT (Fastest Known Times) list. Basically, all we are offering is the challenge, transportation, perhaps some water-only drops and a great party afterwards. We\’ll have all the details soon on the first 7 Wild Trails Adventures of 2017.

Watch for more info in the near future on this new Wild Trails Adventure Series!
